Domaine Pichot
Jean-Claude Pichot's family, rooted in Vouvray since 1739, has a long history as viticulturists and restaurateurs. Their cellars, carved from hills once quarried for Loire châteaux, house Domaine Pichot, founded in 1996 by uniting three historic vineyards: Coteau de la Biche, Le Peu de la Moriette, and Le Marigny. Spanning 60 acres, all Chenin Blanc, the vineyards average thirty years old. Unlike many Vouvray producers, Pichot wines reflect the elegant authenticity of their unique terroir and the winemaker’s skill.
