2021 Chantereves, Bourgogne Blanc
Tomoko and Guillaume use 66% Maranges fruit from Côte de Beaune for their Bourgogne blanc, with the rest coming from Les Pierres Dorées in Beaujolais, near Lyon. The soil there resembles Chassagne-Montrachet’s Bajocian limestone. Maranges adds mineral tension and density, while Pierres Dorées contributes bright floral and fresh stone fruit notes. According to Tomoko, the 2021 vintage, aged in various barrels, is "the most beautiful Bourgogne Blanc to date in our cellar."

Chantereves
Chantereves, a dynamic husband-and-wife winemaking duo, is making waves in Burgundy.
Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott met while working at Domaine Simon Bize et Fils, where Guillaume is still the cellarmaster. Their collaboration began in 2010 and quickly garnered rave reviews from Jancis Robinson MW, sparking a surge of interest in their new brand.
Thanks to Guillaume's local ties from his Dijon upbringing and Beaune roots, Chantereves secures exceptional fruit, which is often challenging for younger négociants. Their straightforward, traditional winemaking approach highlights the unique qualities of each parcel.
