2023 Bruno Lafon, 'Les Fleurs' Vermentino
A plunge into sea-kissed refreshment, this Vermentino hails from the sun-soaked southwestern Mediterranean coast of France, crafted under the guidance of Bruno Lafon, brother of the renowned Dominique Lafon of Domaine des Comtes Lafon in Meursault, Burgundy. The hand-harvested grapes are destemmed and aged for four months in cool stainless steel. It’s a perfect white for warm evenings and seafood eaten with fingers, not forks.

Bruno Lafon
In 1984, Bruno made his first harvest at Domaine des Comtes Lafon alongside his brother Dominique. What he loves about winemaking is the magical transformation of fruit juice into a wine that expresses a unique terroir. He always aims to create wines that honour the alchemy of the terroir while appealing to consumers' tastes. If they appreciate the purity of fruit and elegant texture, they may find pleasure in his wines. At the end of each harvest, tasting the first cuvée after fermentation is always a moment of great joy when it meets expectations, and a significant disappointment if a tank falls short.
